The SmartBrand system uses a closed-loop feeback system to heat your brand to the specified temperature every time. The TC-5 Digital heat controller keeps the heat within a few degrees. Not using it? It saves power. Using it a lot? It cranks up the juice. Fast. Easy. Consistent. Choosing the only branding iron system with a brain is a no-brainer.
The SmartBrand system can run individual plates as large as 25in² (to find your surface area, multiply the height of your logo by the width). And it runs small plates just as easily!
Aluminum or Brass?
We make our removable branding heads from a solid bar of aircraft-grade 6061-T6 aluminum alloy or ultra-tough brass alloy; they are not cast or molded. Both materials produce identical results as far as sharpness and detail. Go for aluminum if you plan to use your branding iron occasionally but if you need something tougher for a professional environment, go for brass.
The stainless-steel handle of the electric branding iron is topped with a comfortable hardwood grip, so you can make your mark easily! All components are made right here in the U.S.A.
Wood, leather, food and plastic
Our brands are primarily designed to be used on wood, but they can also be used on leather, food and other soft materials, such as plastic. However, your plate needs a deeper relief when used on these surfaces. Keep that in mind when placing your order.
Voltage
Please note our Electric Irons are only sold within North America.
The standard voltage is 120V, 60Hz. Our irons are designed to operate on 110-120V, either AC or DC. The plug is a standard 3-pronged US plug (NEMA 15-5).

SmartBrand Branding System
We are still getting used to the branding system, as we just received it. So far we are very happy with it. We do wish that the power supply could be transferrable between the drill press and the handheld iron. But, all in all, very happy with the customer service and the product!
Upgraded to the SmartBrand Branding System
Hey, I just upgraded my branding iron. Originally had the torch heated iron, which worked ok, but this SmartBrand iron is amazing. It heats much faster, gives better results and I think it’s a little safer. I would definitely recommend this system to anyone who has to do bulk branding.
